SEASONAL NESTING RESTRICTIONS

MANY OF THE CLIFFS AT GOGARTH ARE SUBJECT TO SEASONAL NESTING RESTRICTION, AND MANY ARE NOT. FOR AN UP TO DATE LIST OF CRAGS AND ROUTES THAT ARE RESTRICTED VISIT THE BMC REGIONAL ACCESS DATABASE. We aim to eventually get all the routes that are restricted indicated with an R in the title of each route, plus the dates at the start of each crag section that is affected. In the main the ban runs from the 1st February to 31st July.

Weather

BBC weather forecast: Holyhead 24 hour forecast. Metcheck forecast for Main Cliff. For swell size and wind direction: Irish Sea wave buoy. This traffic webcamin Holyhead will give you an idea of the weather now. A couple of other weather sources are Wind Guru, Anglesey specfic weather and Rhosneigr webcam looking across the bay giving a coastal perspective to the weather.
